BOLD CONTRAST, REFINED CHARACTER

This custom console table features an original Arhaus tabletop paired with a sculptural Dauphine pedestal base in a warm gold finish, creating a striking balance of architectural form and lived-in elegance.

The tabletop showcases a hand-finished black painted surface with intentional distressing along the edges, allowing subtle undertones to emerge through the finish. This purposeful wear gives the piece depth and character, softening the bold black surface and lending it a warm, dimensional presence rather than a stark or overly modern look.

Anchoring the table is Arhaus’s Dauphine base in a rich gold metal finish. The pedestal form adds sculptural weight and visual strength, while the metallic tone introduces warmth and contrast against the matte black top. Together, the combination feels elevated, intentional, and design-forward—ideal for an entryway, dining room, or styled behind a sofa.

This is a curated, custom configuration assembled from original Arhaus components, offering a one-of-a-kind statement not available as a standard retail piece.

MATERIALS & FINISH NOTES

The tabletop features a painted black wood finish with deliberate edge distressing as part of the original design. Subtle tonal variation and finish wear are intentional elements that contribute to the table’s character and authenticity.

The Dauphine pedestal base is crafted from metal and finished in a warm gold tone, providing both stability and sculptural presence. The finish reads refined rather than flashy, complementing the distressed tabletop without overpowering it.

CONDITION | CUSTOM, VERY GOOD PRESENTATION

This console table is offered as a custom, curated piece and presents beautifully when styled.

The tabletop features intentional distressing as part of its original design, particularly along the edges. In addition, there are minor surface scratches on the tabletop edges and light topcoat scratching, consistent with normal open box handling. All wear blends naturally with the distressed finish and does not detract from the overall appearance, presence, or functionality of the piece. The table is structurally sound and placement-ready.

The underside of the tabletop shows evidence of its original extension hardware and a custom mounting plate used to secure it to the Dauphine base. These elements are fully concealed when the table is in use and do not impact the appearance, stability, or performance of the piece.
