Bench-made by master artisans in North Carolina, Maxwell begins with a precision-cut, FSC-certified engineered wood frame constructed with interlocking mortise-and-tenon joinery for exceptional strength and stability. Beneath the cushions, traditional eight-way hand-tied spring suspension—long considered the gold standard in upholstered seating—provides enduring support and comfort.

This configuration pairs a 9' Left-Arm Return Sofa with an 8' Right-Arm Sofa, creating an expansive L-shaped sectional measuring approximately 136"W × 108"D overall. The Classic 40" depth provides generous lounge comfort while maintaining a more versatile footprint than Maxwell's deeper Luxe configuration.

This example features RH's premium Down-Feather cushion configuration. Proprietary seat cushion technology combines memory and latex foam for a supportive yet sink-in sitting experience, topped with an RDS-certified feather-and-down and polyfiber blend. Coordinating back cushions incorporate down, feather, and polyfiber for Maxwell's signature relaxed comfort.

The seat cushions feature RH's proprietary cushion technology combining memory and latex foam, designed to provide a balance of sink-in softness, resilient support, and long-term shape retention.

The cushion cores are topped with an RDS-certified feather-and-down and polyfiber blend, while the coordinating back cushions contain an RDS-certified blend of down, feather, and polyfiber.

RH's proprietary cushion technology is designed to maintain resiliency after 100,000 sitting cycles—the equivalent of more than 50 years of normal usage.

Because the cushions incorporate natural feather and down, some movement, settling, and variation in loft are expected with normal use. Periodic fluffing, smoothing, and rotation help redistribute the fill and maintain an even appearance.

The Perennials® Performance Textured Linen Weave in Dune presents beautifully throughout, as do the cushions, frame, feet, and visible components. The sectional shows extremely minimal evidence of prior use and has been well maintained.

Prior to listing, the sectional was fully refreshed, including attention to the upholstery and cushions, and has been prepared for immediate placement in its next home.

As with any very lightly pre-owned upholstered furnishing, minor traces of prior placement, handling, or transportation may be present upon close inspection, though nothing detracts from its exceptional overall presentation.

Most spills can be gently blotted. When necessary, spot clean with mild soap, rinse with lukewarm water, and allow the fabric to air dry.

For stubborn stains, Perennials® specifies a solution of one part bleach to two parts water, followed by thorough rinsing and air drying.

Professional upholstery cleaning is recommended as appropriate. Vacuum periodically using an upholstery attachment and rotate, fluff, and smooth cushions to encourage even wear.

Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to help minimize fading.
