DESCRIPTION
The Reclaimed English Beam console table is built from solid pine support beams salvaged from decades-old mills, factories and warehouses in England. The form is a single horizontal beam carried on two massive beam legs, joined with exposed dovetail joinery at each end. There is no ornament beyond the construction itself; the character is carried entirely by the timber.

The beams are hand-selected, planed and lightly sanded, and left unsealed. The marks of the wood's first life are preserved rather than corrected: nicks, splits, cracks, knots and nail holes appear across the surfaces, and because each beam is genuine architectural salvage, no two tables are exactly alike. Depth varies slightly from piece to piece for the same reason.

At 118 inches wide and 518 pounds, the table is monumental in scale. It works as a console behind a long sofa, as an entry or gallery piece, or as a low serving surface. Adjustable levelers are fitted to the base for stability on uneven floors. This example is new: it was manufactured in April 2026 and has been out of its box only for photographing. It is completely placement ready and presents beautifully.

MATERIALS & CONSTRUCTION
Handcrafted of solid reclaimed pine support beams salvaged from decades-old structures in England. The beams are individually selected, planed and lightly sanded while retaining their aged character, and the wood is left unsealed. The top beam is joined to the leg beams with exposed dovetail joinery. By their nature, unsealed salvaged planks may be somewhat uneven and may develop small cracks or cup or bow slightly over time with changes in temperature or humidity; this is the material's provenance, not a defect.

FINISH
Salvaged Natural. The unsealed pine keeps the color the timber developed over decades: warm natural pine moving through honey, wheat and weathered tan, with deeper tones in the knots, cracks and nail holes. Tone shifts subtly along the length of each beam.

STYLE
Reclaimed, Rustic, Organic Modern, Belgian-Inspired, Transitional
