DESCRIPTION
The 1950s Italian Shelter Arm Chair is streamlined in form, with curved shelter-style arms and a waterfall seat cushion. The silhouette recalls the sculptural forms of midcentury Italian design: a continuous curved back that wraps into the arms and shelters the seat.
This is the Classic 32½" depth configuration, upholstered in Italian Veneto leather in Ivory and set on a plinth base in a Black Oak Drifted finish. The frame is handcrafted of engineered hardwood with reinforced joinery, corner blocking, and mortise-and-tenon construction, over a sinuous spring suspension. Seat and back are padded with high-density polyurethane cushioning.

Very lightly pre-owned. This chair presents in beautiful condition overall, with only a few minor signs of handling and very subtle use upon close inspection. A few subtle areas of leather rash are present on the left side of the chair when facing it; the areas are shown in the photographs and video. The chair is placement ready.
As with all pre-owned furnishings, signs of use will be present upon close inspection.
