Sculptural, architectural, and beautifully crafted, the RH Byron Open Nightstand from designers Harrison and Nicholas Condos draws inspiration from the bold proportions and fluid curves of postmodern design while incorporating refined classical detailing.

The substantial geometric form is softened by a slender horizontal reveal and extensive vertical reeding, creating an interplay of line, texture, and shadow. Crafted from American white oak, the nightstand appears to float above a recessed plinth base, producing a crisp shadow line that gives the substantial 32-inch form an unexpectedly light architectural presence.

Particularly beautiful in the Light Oak finish, Byron undergoes an intensive multistep finishing process in which the oak is wire brushed by hand, emphasizing the depth and character of its natural grain. Solid oak reeding extends across all vertical surfaces, including the back, allowing the nightstand to present beautifully from multiple angles.

A generously sized, fully finished soft-close drawer provides concealed storage, while the substantial open compartment below offers space for books, decorative objects, baskets, or other bedside essentials.
