DESCRIPTION

Bold, architectural, and beautifully understated, the RH Bezier Sideboard pairs the natural character of American white oak with slender metal detailing in a sophisticated interpretation of 1970s postmodern design.

Designed by the Van Thiels, Bezier is defined by strong proportions, clean lines, and a restrained silhouette that allows its materials to take center stage. The richly grained oak is sandblasted, wire brushed, stained, and waxed, creating a deeply textured surface with a warm, dimensional patina.

This example is the 48" two-door configuration in Black Oak / Bronze. The dark oak finish emphasizes the texture and natural grain of the wood, while slender vertical solid-aluminum pulls introduce a refined Bronze accent and subtle architectural contrast.

Two doors open to a generously sized interior with an adjustable shelf, providing versatile concealed storage for dining essentials, serving pieces, media components, linens, or other household items. German-engineered soft-close hinges provide smooth, controlled operation, while a recessed platform base gives the substantial cabinet a clean, almost floating appearance.

Compact enough to work in spaces where a traditional oversized sideboard may be impractical, the 48-inch Bezier is equally compelling as a dining-room cabinet, entry console, living-room storage piece, or sophisticated media cabinet.

This piece is new open box and presents in beautiful condition.

Bezier strikes an unusual balance between rustic materiality and precise architectural form. The heavily textured oak introduces organic character, while the crisp rectangular silhouette and slender metal accents keep the piece distinctly modern.

It pairs beautifully with travertine, marble, limestone, plaster, linen, bouclé, leather, bronze, aged metals, warm woods, and other richly textured natural materials.

COLOR OVERVIEW

Black Oak / Bronze

Black Oak is a dramatic, sophisticated finish that emphasizes rather than conceals the natural grain and texture of the American white oak.

The sandblasted and wire-brushed surface creates subtle tonal movement throughout the finish, with variations of deep black, charcoal, smoked brown, and dark natural oak becoming visible as surrounding light moves across the textured grain.

Slender Bronze-finished metal pulls provide a warm counterpoint to the dark cabinetry. Because of the reflective nature of the metal, the hardware can appear subtly different depending on surrounding light and viewing angle.

The combination is sophisticated and architectural without feeling overly formal.

NATURAL WOOD CHARACTER

American white oak is a natural material, and variations in grain, texture, coloration, and surface character should be expected.

The Bezier finishing process intentionally emphasizes these characteristics. Sandblasting and wire brushing expose the natural grain structure of the oak, creating variations in depth and texture across the surface rather than a completely uniform appearance.

These characteristics are inherent to natural wood and contribute to the individual character of each piece.

CONDITION

New Open Box | Beautiful Condition

This RH Bezier Sideboard is a new open-box piece that presents in beautiful condition.

As with any open-box furnishing, minor touch-ups, traces of packaging, storage, handling, or transportation may be present upon very close inspection, though nothing detracts from the piece's exceptional overall presentation.

Natural variations in the oak's grain, texture, coloration, and surface character are inherent to the material and are further emphasized by the collection's sandblasted and wire-brushed finish.

The cabinetry, doors, hardware, and interior present beautifully, making this an exceptionally well-presenting and placement-ready example of the RH Bezier Collection.
