DESCRIPTION

From the Thaddeus Collection, inspired by the sculptural works of Salvador Dalí and Diego Giacometti, this end-of-bed bench pairs a leather-upholstered seat with a bolster cushion at each end, set on a hand-forged brass frame. Artisans hand-hammer the brass using traditional techniques, giving the metal an organic, textured surface. The proportions are low and elongated, made for the foot of a bed.

CONDITION

This bench was used for staging and presents in beautiful overall condition. Light surface marks are present on the leather from handling and transport during staging. Berkshire leather carries a high natural oil content, so marks of this kind tend to absorb into the leather and soften with use. As with any staged furnishing, minor traces of handling, transportation, or storage may be present upon close inspection.
